As practical people who appreciate beauty, our projects demonstrate the principle, form follows function. My husband's enjoyment of wood of any species complements my design interests.

Together in studio, we design and build fine furniture out of cherry, walnut and quarter-sawn white oak using traditional joinery.

At Newberry Furniture & Kitchen Accessories, we also create smaller products for chefs including cheese boards, rolling pins, utensils, sushi tables and chop sticks. Some of them are shown on the cooking cable show, Twiced Baked, where the Kelly Twins use our cutting boards.

For the garden, we build several styles of furniture out of cypress and whenever possible old-growth cypress. We've used 100 year-old barns, river recovered sunken logs plus recycled 70 year-old retired pickle barrels made from thousand year-old trees.

Our customers will find us in several St. Louis stores, Cornucopia, Straub's, Veritas Getaway to Food & Wine and LE Lu as well as in Columbia's art gallery, Bluestem Missouri Crafts and Boone's Lick Harvest in Williamsburg. We are also featured at the Unique Boutique, Cedarhurst in Mount Vernon, Illinois and the Best of Missouri Market at the Botanical Garden.
