Jaree Donnelly started Midnight Blue to pursue her life-long dream of a creative calling. She has had an interest in the arts from an early age, enjoying drawing, painting, music, crafts, and photography. In school, Jaree has studied and continues to study studio art, photography, graphic design and jewelry design. She has a strong interest in use of the computer in the creation of art and has plans to obtain her Masters of Fine Arts. She is active in the arts community, pursuing greater opportunities for emerging artists. She is a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP) and the Professional Photographers of America (PPA). She teaches digital photography and children's art.

Photography has provided an unparalleled means for Jaree to practice her creative vision. Looking through the lens of her cameras, she is able to capture bits and moments of the world in interesting new ways; the interplay of light and dark, as well as objects and people in their environment. Adding the computer to the creative process has allowed her to take this art even further, creating unique images, of even greater depth and emotion, not possible before.
