Martin Spilker is one of Missouri's up-and-coming landscape photographers: He considers himself a Missouri "farm boy." He grew about 90 miles northeast of Columbia near Bethel, MO. It was there he learned to appreciate his natural surroundings and the beauty of the seasons. He moved to Columbia in 1982. Martin is a self-taught photographer who is beginning to make a name for himself here in mid-Missouri. It was through the urging of his friends that he began to market his photographs, and found that many others liked his work.
