I was born in Sikeston, Missouri. I graduated from Truman High School in Independence, Missouri. I attended William Jewell College and graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. After devoting over 20 years to raising a family, I began to devote time to my art career at the end of 2001. I am a watercolorist and strive to allow the transparency of the medium to show through in every painting I do. I am a signature member of the Missouri Watercolor Society, a member of the Transparent Watercolor Society and American Watercolor Society. I am a member of Alliance Art Gallery, hannibal, Missouri; the Hanibal Arts Council and Riverland Artist Group. I currently serve on the Hannibal Arts Council Board and the Executive Committee for the Hannibal Art Club. I have exhibited in numerous group shows, solo exhibits and juried shows. I have won numerous awards and have had a painting published in the Hannibal Magazine and Missouri Life magazine. Brenda Beck-Fisher
