Jean Hartley Jean Hartley began her weaving career after acquiring an 1850 rug loom at a farm auction. Since her initial acquisition of the old loom, she has progressed to create refined wearable art. Her specialty at this time is producing fine cloth that she then designs into one of a kind garments. She has participated in formal weaving training at the college level and has attended many advanced seminars. She was one of the early members of the Fiber Guild of Kansas City. She also participates in numerous fine art shows throughout the states of Missouri and Kansas.
